Children
Our Children's Ministry is designed to support
parents in their endeavor to raise mature and
responsible Christian children. We believe that
God gives each parent the responsibility and
ability to shape their children's lives. Our
mission is to help in that process by providing
quality programs and activities that build a
foundation of Christian values and encourage
Christian character.
In addition, our children's Ministry is a vital part
of our community outreach. Many activities are
designed to involve community families with
our church families.
The Rock is a contemporary organization for
college students and young community members
that want to experience God, not religion. The
purpose of The Rock is to show this generation
the hope found in Jesus Christ and how God is
relevant and active today. It is our goal to live
authentic Christian lives according to the
timeless truths of the New Testament. The Rock
is sponsored by Eagle Creek Community Church
and is affiliated with Great Commission
Churches. The Rock meets every Thursday
evening at the Campus Center at IUPUI. We also
meet weekly in Life groups off campus (for
worship, prayer, fellowship) as well as in Growth
groups for accountability.

Increase in their love for the Lord Jesus Christ
and demonstrate that love by seeking to put Him
first in their lives.
Develop God-honoring relationships with
parents and peers.
Demonstrate love for others by serving (in the
church and community).
Become effective in reaching their peers at
school, in sporting activities, in the
neighborhood, and in extended family for Christ.
Channel their energy in a positive way that
impacts others around them.
Develop a heart to worship their Creator.
During the school year our junior high and high
school groups meet on Sunday mornings. Both
groups meet additionally for service projects,
activities, and events.
Growth Groups
At Eagle Creek Community we have a very simple approach
to helping individuals take responsibility for their spiritual
growth and change. That approach is to develop relation-
ships with one or two other faithful believers in the church
that have the potential to catapult us forward in our
relationship with Christ
In growth groups these partners commit together to meet
regularly, read the Bible, hold each other accountable, and
pray.
Life Groups
Philippians 2:1-2 declares, "If you have any
encouragement from being united with Christ, if any
comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit,
if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy
complete by being like-minded, having the same love,
being one in spirit and purpose."
Koinonia (fellowship) is being in agreement with one
another, being united in purpose, and serving alongside
each other. A powerful example of what koinonia should
look like can be found in a study of the phrase "one
another" in the Bible.
At Eagle Creek Community Church we encourage each
member to connect up with others outside of Sunday
mornings. These groups average 10-15 people and meet
in homes or in the church building. These groups meet at
various times and include things like: bible study, topical
study, discussing spiritual help books, simply sharing
from our bible reading, enjoying meals together, camping
together, building decks and doing other home projects
together.
Don't hesitate to contact us if you would like to get to
know other members at ECCC and meet on a regular basis!
